Media For Development International needed graphics for the Tanzanian market. The commercials were to educate the people the truth about AIDS. Tanzanians are also provided ART's free of charge. AIDS is considered a stigma so the purpose of these ads were to empower the people and encourage them to visit their doctors to be tested. The text in Swahili respectively reads: I believe, I am confident, Strategies, and Positively Empowered. (2008).
