Can’t Get A Date

This television series for both the VH1 and Logo networks gave me the chance to develop a whole range of poppy-colored graphics to emphasize the hip, upbeat feel of the show. While many of the elements needed to be adaptable to make for a quick turnaround, they also had to reinforce the quirks of each episode’s subject—including those of a female body builder and a guy who saw nothing wrong with using his sock as a pocket. All in all, this zany project about people looking for a little love in the big city gave me a ton of experience, creative freedom and, in a twist of fate involving one of the main characters, a boyfriend. Dyske Suematsu branded this package. (2005-2006)
